Hello LOAders and welcome to this special episode of Watchtower — the blog that keeps you up-to-date with all the latest happenings and juicy updates for League of Ancients!
Today is a special episode, because we just have to talk about that presale event! We were absolutely blown away by the number of people who got involved! We never could have anticipated that it would be so popular, and it just goes to show how much you believe in this project and what we are trying to achieve. Thank you, LOAders, you are the best!
Just in case you missed it, here’s what went down:
The presale went live at 00.00UTC on Saturday 20th November. We had $2 Million shiny $LOA tokens ready to go for those lucky enough to get whitelisted (all 24,653 of you awesome LOAders)! We were amazed to see that within one minute the presale had been oversubscribed! Within 30 minutes we had to end the event early because it had over ONE HUNDRED TIMES the level of interaction we expected, with 10546% of the target being achieved and a staggering $10.5 million dollars being offered. Of course, this meant that unfortunately only a certain percentage of each request could be allocated, with the rest of the BNB being immediately refunded. The same went for those who didn’t get any allocation at all, with all of their money being immediately returned to them.
We are so awed by how much you guys wanted to take part in this. We know that some of you will be disappointed that you didn’t manage to secure any $LOA or that you only got a small amount compared to what you wanted, and we are sorry for that. BUT don’t worry, because we have more opportunities for you to get your hands on the precious tokens! We have four NFT presales coming up, and each one will enable you to get some $LOA along with them!
