Say NO to Crypto Bullies!

We have made the decision to post this important announcement to inform the community that we are under severe defamation attack by a (supposedly) reputable venture capitalist to serve his own, personal interests. We have received a legal threat from the individual to provide him with a substantial amount of private sale allocation when the contract has yet to be concluded. Failing to do so in the next 24 hours, he will launch a series of legal (by suing us and reporting us to regulators) and media-based attacks to attempt to take down the team, community, and the project.

Such a threat had caused a tremendous amount of stress and pressure to the team. After spending countless days and sleepless nights to make LOA a successful project, we had to make a decision to either go against our principle of putting decentralization and community first or risk losing all of our hard work.

In the past few hours, the venture capitalist had spread unsubstantiated accusations and rumours to our partners, stating that LOA is under a legal investigation (which is patently false unless he is referring to the one that he intends to start). In addition, he has even threatened to halt the project by alleging LOA is issuing illegal securities to investors, with an aim to send the LOA team and investors to jail for participating in it.

If LOA tokens are deemed illegal securities, that would mean all GameFi, Play-To-Earn and Metaverse projects can potentially come under threat. We urge the existing and new project owners to be mindful in choosing the right venture capitalist as your investor.

Venture capitalists are supposed to be strategic and helpful to the project by bringing value. Conversely, this individual has chosen to serve his own interests — in what is tantamount to blackmail — and will jeopardize the entire project if the project owner does not yield to him.

We could of course give in to this individual’s threat by allocating a large number of LOA tokens to his personal wallet as requested, but this would make him a problematic whale in the project’s early life. After much discussion and deliberation with the team and advisors, we have decided that the community is simply too important to us and so we have put the interest of project and yourselves first. We stand firm with our core belief of decentralization and a mission to do everything we can to bring the best MOBA NFT game to the BSC community. We will not allow one unscrupulous individual to undermine that.

The success of LOA is a contribution of many #LOAders which include our partners, team, moderators, ambassadors, and both private and public investors. We are determined not to let anything stop us from growing this project and are confident that the crypto community will stand by us in fighting against venture capital bullies.
