CryptoRoaches: Introducing a Series of Coffee Talk Sessions with LOA

Greetings LOAders.

The past few weeks have been rough for the crypto market in general, with the total crypto market cap plummeting to its lowest point in 10 months. Inevitably most projects have taken a hit — and League of Ancients is no exception.

However, crypto markets (as well as traditional markets) are cyclical in nature, and for every paperhand who downsizes their portfolio, there will be opportunists who capitalise on the dip.

Despite the discouraging outlook, we remain confident that the current situation is nothing more than a blip on the horizon of our long-term sustainability, and that HODLing until recovery remains the best course of action.

The team remains committed to delivering a high-quality MOBA game that will revolutionise the genre with play-to-earn capabilities. We understand that some may be shaken during these times, but rest assured, the storm will eventually pass, and just like the proverbial roach during a nuclear apocalypse, League of Ancients will survive and emerge as a shining beacon in the crypto gaming industry.

Soon, members of LOA’s management and some special guests from the crypto industry will be sitting down with the community in a series of coffee talk sessions titled CryptoRoaches. These sessions will be held in Twitter Spaces with the aim of discussing a wide variety crypto-related topics relevant to the current market. It will be a great opportunity for you to get all the burning questions off your chest and seek answers while we plough through the storm together.

Before we sign off, we’d also like to provide everyone with a quick update on the status of our moving items:

• Yield farming and marketplace: UAT (user acceptance testing) is complete, with the audit for several features still underway
• Game development: Remains on track, with Atalanta’s skill demo video to be released very soon
• Partnerships: Several guilds have jumped aboard the LOA train, and we will be announcing them in the coming weeks!
• Website 2.0: As work on the marketplace is wrapping up, we have begun redeploying developers to work on the updated website design, which we are extremely excited to reveal
• More new stuff: In addition to the above, you can expect livestreams with the devs, more community activities…and perhaps even the launch of a new social media channel!

All in all, we remain optimistic, and the team’s dedication to the project will not waver. To provide reassurance, we will be increasing our communication with the community, and ensuring that we retain a consistent presence on our social media channels.
